Yea, maybe. I was thinking the coach brought in the lefty to face lefty hitting Echols. WP changed that matchup tho. Reliever just didn't look ready for the pressure.
yeah she was gassed..& still has to go at least 1 more forgot Echols(LH) was first AB for Lowe,, i gave up interest when rolls it to backstop first pitch to her..lol
better be wearing it elsewhere next year if doesnt host(they wont) or a deep run on road. Already in a regional at this point at least. but way to much talent to be only doing that.. Should of fired hitting coach 2 years ago.
Well if he was "saving her the L" he doesn't know how scoring is done lol.....cause the winning run was hers and she took the L
It's exactly like baseball....if your "baserunner" scores the winning run you take the loss....has nothing to do with who is on the mound when they lose
I thought the girls were done like dinner after the Auburn homerun in the 7th. Shows what I know. If I was the Auburn coach, I would not of walked Charla to load the bases. Charla is struggling at the bat lately. Batting under 220 in conference play. I take my chances with her. Gutsy victory bt the Gators tonight.
yeah i guess just a blown save, not sure what i was thinking,, lol the room is really smokey.. blown hold rather, if havethose in SB what if inherited winning run was unearned, L charged to whoever was pitching when E commited?
Wish we had pitchers who are tired like that. Even with the last batter, her hard stuff was still around 74 MPH. Without question, the hardest throwing we've faced this year.
Had to set up force at home after WP IMO ,,only hope w/ speed on 3rd..Lowe wasnt going to K anyone right now.
Is there a reason that wasn't scored as an error? Definitely a glass half full way of looking at Longley's performance tonight. She got on base because the pitcher nailed her with a pitch. If Smiley were standing in the box, he would have been given first also. I was surprised that Micky didn't test her arm, even after bringing in pitch runners at a couple of points. Do I remember another miscue a few games ago by Egan in right? I like her but for someone looking for playing time, three ABs and three SO is not making her case, even without crashing into Kistler. Not sure if it was shown on TV, but CTW was exhorting the crowd to get loud when the Auburn reliever came in. I don't think I recall him interacting with the home crowd like that, although he did get into a beef with that Auburn fan last year at Auburn.
