Pitching change, kind of surprising. WP, runners move up. Echols walked intentionally. Let's go Walsh. Another WP would be ok also
Great win against an elite pitcher. Hightower held her own and in spite of 12 strikeouts, the Gators showed patience at the plate that last inning and didn't fold after Auburn tied the game. Skylar was the catalyst, but Falby and Walsh did their jobs. And good job by Trlicek in the top if the 8th to get the win. Another good thing is making Penta throw 133 pitches. It's more the legs than arms that get tired for a softball pitcher and in the heat of Gainesville, maybe she'll not be as effective on Saturday. Now I hope Lexie is inspired to come out and throw a good game tomorrow.
She had over 133 pitches..they pulled her after we had runners on 1st and 2nd..perhaps she was tiring at that point
Except for that crazy collision in the outfield that allowed in a run...the girls looked good tonight
Saving her the L..lol Lowe for first time in 2 weeks was strange w/ 3 RH up. But Dean... good game..pretty much AU in a nutshell right now. at least when Penta pitches. give up little, mostly unearned, & score little mostly via HR. Thats at least 5th time this year Garcia has made diving catches coming in on balls or horizontal, & least 5th time tripped over her own feet going back on balls. . The Peralta E after that is one that hurt.
