And naturally it surrounds Team MAGA. SMH but really who is surprised.

Clarence Thomas Has Been Illegally Accepting Luxury Gifts and Private Jet Travel for Decades Per Bombshell ProPublica Report

For more than two decades, Thomas has accepted luxury trips virtually every year from the Dallas businessman without disclosing them, documents and interviews show. A public servant who has a salary of $285,000, he has vacationed on Crow’s superyacht around the globe. He flies on Crow’s Bombardier Global 5000 jet. He has gone with Crow to the Bohemian Grove, the exclusive California all-male retreat, and to Crow’s sprawling ranch in East Texas. And Thomas typically spends about a week every summer at Crow’s private resort in the Adirondacks.

The extent and frequency of Crow’s apparent gifts to Thomas have no known precedent in the modern history of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Why would flgator2 find your post funny? It’d be nice if he occasionally weighed in with an opinion, but that’s probably asking too much. Mine is that Thomas is an Uncle Tom with deep emotional problems who has no business on the Court. Sadly, nothing can be done about it, and Roberts doesn’t have the balls to.

As a black man raised in The viscous segregated South, you’d think he’d show some sympathy to black people, but he’s shown absolutely none, preferring instead to cozy up to his tormentors. Sounds like Stockholm Syndrome.

Ideally, shame alone from being caught violating the law numerous times should compel him to resign. Unfortunately, there will be a less than ideal outcome and nothing of any real consequence will happen. Corruption Rules.

Interesting to me that it's coming out now if he's been doing it for decades. Tons of people must have known. Maybe people are digging based upon his wife's January 6th activities or based upon the leak of the draft Opinion.

As much as people like to hate on the MSM we tend to see with things like this that reporters have known about the rumors for some time but just weren't able to get sufficient evidence to go public. I'm sure this was challenging because the people in the inner circle who attended these trips aren't going to spill the beans and kill their private access to a SCOTUS judge.

If true, it is inexcusable. (Though ProPublica isnt exactly an unbiased source, I basically assume this stuff exists at this point.). But, If true he should hang his robe up immediately.

But wishing for death is disgusting and gross and I will call it out as such every time.

    Anti vaxers? Wish for death.
    Radio blowhard? Wish for death.
    Unethical behavior? Wish for death.

I guess there’s another discussion and a few jokes regarding lawyers/judges and ethics but I’m too tired to go there.

Those following this thread will notice it has been considerably shortened as I edited or removed portions of posts wishing for Thomas's death or comments referring to those deleted portions. The subject of the OP is worthy of discussion without wishing for the death of Thomas and the subsequent distracting responses.

I assume the only recourse is impeachment. And the odds of the house bringing that are zero.
So enjoy your perks Mr Thomas.

So, at least in theory the other two branches of government have some accountability in the form of oversight and elections. Once on the SCOTUS, not so much. THey are accountable to no one and that needs to end. THey are not gods.
