Looks like a stud and I do remember that dude. Not to be a Debbie downer, but now it seems that every time a decent player hits the portal, we have to chase them and every one we don’t get will result in fans claiming abject failure.

I remember him all too well unfortunately, but TG needs to go all out to get him. Difference maker for sure. Has to be 1 of the top 5 transfers available.

Six feet, not sure night in and night out he’s matching up well against the size of the league.
But someone who can legit score is needed.

Kid is a stud. There have been plenty of stud current/past college and current/past nba point guards that are 6’. Don’t make us start a list lol

Well, if he wants to be a 6th man, instant offense guy then okay. If he wants to start then...

I am not sure we can offer him what he wants in the next season in basketball. He may think the graduate degree is sufficient.

Are you suggesting that he wouldn’t be good enough to start for the Gators?

Not tall enough to sell him a starting spot. If it turned out that he played into one, then I would be 1) pleasantly surprised or 2) concerned about the other pieces (see Jones this last season). To me, an instant offense 6th man is a VERY valuable commodity. Bonham could have been that guy but the SEC badly exposed him.

I don't like beating dead horses, but... ah, hell, who am I kidding? Here I go. Mike White coached us out of a win and a trip to the Sweet 16 against Oral Roberts. We had a comfortable 11-point lead, had the ball, and CMW took his foot off the gas with waaaaay too much time left. We milked the clock, stopped attacking, and threw up a prayer at the last second, clang, long rebound, runout, ORU fires a 3 in transition, makes it, gets the foul call and a 4-point play. Boom. Suddenly it's a game again and we go on to fritter it away. Infuriating, but that was one of CMW's worst habits. There's an appropriate time to start milking the clock with the lead, but with Mike it was never too soon.

Perhaps it's because he can do analytics on the fly in the middle of the game to teach Coach Golden a thing or two.

Nope. He tried to do it all by himself down the stretch of games for Wake. They went 5-8 in their last 13 games, and he was responsible for a lot of that. I think that Wake would have had a better season without him.

Can’t believe this guy is still playing in college. Seems so long ago he helped end our season
