If Trump committed these crimes don't you think the other 6 investigations would have uncovered even one of these so-called crimes? These made up charges are the fraud.
They did and Barr and the DOJ told Cy Vance not to charge him and he complied as he believed the DOJ was going to prosecute.
Apparently, Trump was offered the opportunity to be fully arraigned via Zoom. He refused that accommodation.
This is the day This is the day That the Lord Has Made That the Lord Had Made We will rejoice We will rejoice and be glad in it
Arraignment via Zoom wouldn't be good for fundraising. The bigger the spectacle the more $$ he can bilk out of his supporters.
If I'm not mistaken, the Trump lawyers are saying that even they don't know what the charges are and haven't been provided a copy of the Indictment. Does anyone know if that's true? Would the attorneys have been provided a copy under seal? If they don't have it, then their accusation that it was leaked by Bragg would be more credible. But at the same time, if they don't have it, I'm not sure why they're going out and making statements about something they haven't seen.
In Florida, sealed means sealed. If I had the case number, like we do Trump's case, and I were to e-file a pleading such as a Notice of Appearance in a sealed case in the Portal, my acknowledgement, even though I am attorney of record at that point, would come back "Confidential v. Confidential" (that's how I would see it in the Portal, as well) and I could not see any activity in the system, much less access a copy of the charging document. Don't know about NY.
