Btw the random rotation order disfavors the highest seeded team. To me the top seed should get the Olympic order so we could end on floor. It would then help us to maximize bars and beam, our best events.

We are 5th on Vault. But the top 2 teams are Oklahoma and Michigan who won the last two titles. They are very consistent on hitting their landings and often score 49.600+.

Trinity could have helped us score .55 better all my herself (assuming 9.9 vault +.15, 9.95 bars +.1, 9.95 beam +.1, and 9.95 floor +.2. Then we would have had highest regional score at 198.36 even with Blakey’s errors and lest than stellar vaults.

Here’s to Payton Edwards today. She has had her struggles in big meets but was money today with three 9.9+ scores. Made the difference for us.

On the bright side, with Trinity in the line-up we would've dropped the lowest scores and added a higher score in each event. That would raise our AA score at least .500 (198.300) or higher if she scored one or two 10.000s . That's how important Trinity is to our team.

Trinity is irreplaceable, let’s hope she gets back to full health and strength. I’m certainly biased but I don’t believe there’s a more deserving human being to have that perfect 10 record all to herself even though that personal record is probably the furthest thing from her mind.

Regardless how everything plays out very few in the rich history of Gator athletics have represented the school with as much grace and humility as Trinity. I just want her to get better and finish her stellar career on her terms.

No matter the sport, no matter how high or low a season ends, I never look forward to saying goodbye to the seniors.

#6 LSU tied #3 Michigan 197.750. Tiebreaker - goes to LSU!

And #11 Oregon State scored 197.650. Talk about a tight meet!

But UF would’ve advanced in this Regional also.

#3 Michigan fails to advance. Florida will face Denver, LSU, California in one semifinal. This is preferable to facing Oklahoma Utah UCLA and Kentucky.

Regionals are brutal. The host has a huge advantage — the three hosts advanced and Denver upset two higher seeds. Thank goodness UF did not go to Denver.
