Baseball vs. Auburn, Sun 4/2, 1:00 pm

Well the hope was that our pitching would rise to the level of our hitting, not vice-versa.

 

@jhfxof i like this Auburn team. Pesky bunch that will make the tourney if they play together and keep doing what they are doing.

 

To me..it isn't just the pitching..our pitchers also need hit and run support

Vail has 75 pitches...need to make him work harder..

 

Ump did us no favor there.

Best pitcher I’ve seen all weekend to this point is still Nesbitt and it was not in a limited sample size. We have kids that know how to pitch and we need to probably find ways to use them more. As @74nole says not always about velocity and sometimes I feel like people fall in love with that… Sometimes even coaches. While saying that, I have to say Waldrep’s last three innings were nothing short of impressive and his upside is absolutely very high.

 

Slater time or Abner. I feel like Fisher has officially hit a slump as could and would be expected for such a young guy. He’s been struggling for about the last two weeks… But I will say this kid is an absolute winner and if anybody can shut a team down and not give up anymore runs it’s him.

 

Hmm..time for another shirt change..maybe I used up all the good vibes between softball and baseball yesterday lol
