This ump has changed the complexion of this inning. Ficarrotta could have had a clean inning if not for a few bad pitch calls.

 

The refs had a role in that game. Rediculous.

 

Waldrep, showed what we’ve got. Very very impressed with him tonight and think he will only get better.
Love his mentality. Never stopped fighting. Quality start which is not something we’ve been able to say much lately. Why I mentioned Nesbitt early as he’s someone that is a pitcher and not a thrower and will give you quality innings because he’s around the zone.

Another thing about Waldrep. Didn’t fold the tent when didn’t have best stuff. Ate up innings and got stronger. If he can focus, and he can and will, on throwing strikes in first inning he will be fine.
