Was waiting for that one. Actually society has made a pretty hypocritical stance on drinking and driving. Yes. They value alcohol sales over safety. Unless they mandate breathalyzer equipment to start all vehicles then yes, blood is on our society's hands as well with DUIs. Unless nightclub and restaurant parking lots are filled with cabs and ubers then it's wildly naive to believe that everyone is driving sober when they leave. Nobody's calling for prohibition. I'd be fine with breathalyzers as a requirement to start a vehicle and open to any other discussion about legislation that would reduce DUIs outside of all out prohibition. How about you and guns?

It doesn’t mean we don’t love our children. Or love them less than guns and booze. We just understand the necessity and purpose of unalienable rights.
