True on Black....but one good season is better than nothing. And I actually think Torrence might have thrived in the defense next year, of course that's just guessing on my part.

I assume Mitchell, but I'm VERY excited about Castell and Thornton

Mitchell better be closer to the line because he is stacked.

how do yall feel about this:

    SSDE: Princely
    DT: McClellon
    NT: Watson
    Edge: Powell
    LB: James
    LB: Wingo/Mitchell
    CB: Marshall
    CB: Moore
    Nickel: Hill/Perkins
    S: Wilson
    S: Mitchell

The Moore/Hill/Perkins situation bothers me because AS A FAN, i’m ready to discard Hill and roll with the Marshall and Moore combo at CB and bring Hill in as CB3

I'd probably have Cam Jackson and Caleb Banks ahead of Watson, Mitchell over Wingo. Moore is a stud but needs to get healthy.....Kimber and Jakeem nice options at corner too

Supposedly Searcy making a lot of noise too....think him and Kelby get a lot of snaps

Against run heavy offenses I'd like to see some combos of Dez-Cam and Cam-McClellan. They are some wide, strong guys.

I think all 4 of those guys will rotate heavily....hopefully Lyons and Norman will also give quality snaps

I agree but expect Watson will get his share of snaps particularly on early downs and in short yardage situations.

Absolutely....IMO they will rotate a lot of guys on the DL situationally. Also wouldn't mind seeing a guy like Boone or Sapp slide inside on passing downs ala Zach Carter as a soph/jr

Thank you Bobby!! Black definitely good before his last year and couldn’t compare him to black, even if he had a great senior year. Black was special and that was a special time in Gator football

Gotta be related to Tamarick Vanover, right?

Yes, but I have no idea what this has to do with my comment about Levis?

AA already said we'll play that short yardage in a 5 man front, so... yeah.

I actually really didn’t like him on the field until last year. Hopefully that’s Bateman being a good coach and putting him in positions to succeed.

I’ve read a lot about star being the position Hill will be playing so he can be what CJG was to us. And Hill does have playmaking skills that can help us in that role. But yeah, if this position change doesn’t fit him and he’s still just potential then we gotta replace him in the starting line up 100%

The "comparison" was only related to limited size and speed for both if you had actually read the post. Nobody compared their performance on the field.....simply that Torrence might have improved his stock IF he played comparably.
