Sadly, though, his dedicated MAGA base do not view anything he says or does counter to the best interests of the country. Take for instance Jordan, who couldn't comment on Trump's call for violence because he lost his reading glasses. His base probably loves him saying FU to the media. I do believe Trump has pushed more independent voters, and rational Republicans, away from supporting him, and he now has even fewer voters in a general to win. It would be another landslide for Biden, who at least seems to be pushing an agenda to help the future of the country.

That guy knows a LOT of his secrets and methods

Edit can his testimony lead to other lines of investigation?

    Hmmm.
Is this pro-Trump lawyer lying? The National Enquirer's former chief may have the receipts

Yet, to the extent that the grand jurors are assessing Costello’s credibility generally, they might want to hear from Pecker about whether he has additional testimony that directly contradicts Costello’s," said the report. "One would imagine that Pecker’s direct knowledge of Trump’s role would have been brought before the grand jury the first time he testified. But it’s possible that Costello’s testimony raised specific questions that required recalling Pecker."

I would laugh if Costello perjured himself. Nit only would he be facing charges, but basically make Trump loom even more guilty than before.
    Guess we will see.

Allen Weisselberg is facing additional fraud charges. He just discharged the two attorneys that were representing him that were paid for by the Trump organization. Reading those tea leaves suggests he is flipping.

"The timing of Weisselberg parting ways with his Trump lawyers has resulted in suggestions he may have been about to, or already has, flipped on the former president, so the 75-year-old doesn't end up spending more time in prison. Weisselberg already agreed to testify in The Trump Organization fraud trial in exchange for his potential jail sentence being reduced from 15 years to five months, but he didn't implicate the former president.

Karen Agnifilo, former chief assistant district attorney of the Manhattan D.A.'s office, told MSNBC she is "very intrigued" that Weisselberg is no longer represented by Gravante and Mulligan.

"It can mean one of two things. Number one, the case is over and doesn't need lawyers anymore, they were just representing them on that one case," Agnifilo said. "Or, more likely, is there was this pressure campaign put on him saying while he's in Rikers, 'do you like being there? Because we're about to bring other charges.'

"If he testified in the grand jury, you wouldn't necessarily know it because he'd be brought into the backdoor because he's incarcerated," Agnifilo added. "So unlike the other people Michael Cohen, or [attorney] Bob Costello, who told people that testified and we know about them because we see them going in and out of the building. You wouldn't necessarily see Allen Weisselberg. So it's possible he's already testified, we just don't know."

Allen Weisselberg Might Have Just Flipped on Donald Trump

Grand Jury has voted to indict Trump

A grand jury in Manhattan has voted to indict Donald Trump – the first time in American history that a current or former president has faced criminal charges, according to three sources familiar with the matter.

The Manhattan district attorney’s office has been investigating the former president in connection with his alleged role in a hush money payment scheme and cover-up involving adult film star Stormy Daniels that dates to the 2016 presidential election.

This story is breaking and will be updated.

Trump won’t be able to vote for himself in Florida. He’ll need to move.

I thought the NY grand jury wasn't meeting this week but may have misunderstood? Or they voted some time before, but I would have assumed it would have leaked sooner if that were the case.

I have mixed feelings. On one hand, it's nice to see that his lies and intimidation tactics did not scare off the prosecutor or grand jury. I've just never been a fan of lies and coverups about consensual sex/affairs being the bases for criminal charges. Guess I shouldn't have a strong opinion at least until we've read the indictment, factual allegations, and charges.
