    The most hellish prisons in the system are Federal prisons (like Supermax), that is pretty much full time solitary for the rest of your life

    It wasn't "hatred", but disgust. Are you and Gatorrick22 trying to say y'all weren't disgusted at that clown??? Besides, that narcissist wasn't protesting so much as prancing and saying "Look at me!"

    If people got two years for jackassery the Swamp wouldn’t get 40,000 for a big home game

    This was the guy's first offense, he plead guilty, and rumor was he was in solitary for mental health reasons. Felt at the time, it wasn't safe for him to be in the general population. The halfway house recommendation might be a suggestion from the mental health professionals?

    I think he did, I don't remember seeing him do anything worth sending him to prison over, had to be the helmet.
    I doubt anybody can deny he originally pleaded not guilty to multiple charges, when it became obvious they were out to hang his ass he made a deal and pleaded guilty.

    Yeah I would wonder why it happened. But his case wasn’t re-adjudicated, and it doesn’t seem like it was a suggestion from prosecutors, so don’t think it had anything to do with the video. Likely more to do with his health.

    For a long time, our laws have shifted from exoneration or mitigation of offenses by mentally ill people. This sentence is fairly long for a felony trespass offense by a mentally ill person. Jail and solitary confinement are not Just. A halfway house is. It restricts freedom but allows for help and readjustment to society.
