    Burney’s times are excellent.

    Are you gonna have him covering some 5’10 speedster in the slot? No.

    But he can absolutely turn and run with 85% of the league’s tight ends with those times and plenty enough speed to close down a stretch play to the sideline.

    4.5 is plenty fast for a guy his size

    True...but his best hope was to put up an Ahmad Black type season to dimish his lack of speed. Doesn't have much to hang his hat on now

    An NFL team is going to realize there are only 2 or 3 LB in the country who can run stride for stride with Brock Bowers, and Burney is one of them. His speed is elite. Athleticism has never been his problem, and he made big advances his last year. Somebody will take a run at him to see if he can put it altogether on the field to be an every down LB.

    I hope he makes it, he slowly but consistently improved over his time at UF and made some great plays for us during his career.

    yea but Black had solid seasons even prior to his senior. He would have had to take an AMAZING leap to be close to what Black was.

    is it Mitchell or Wilson who moves into his spot now?
