I'm putting this here now so I don't forget. Will someone please ask Sully in the postgame how is Coppola and Ursitti doing, and when will we see them back on the mound? I don't have my hopes up that we will see them but I think the question needs to be asked. Thanks
USC actually missed home plate in 9th or extras in that game..lol Uga also did same last weekend one game. Make sure all 50 of your guys touch home.. ..and did anyone really want to see Syracuse win a NC in football?? One of my favorite Pat Dye games/decisions
I was still in shock that I was still watching AU in a game 3 of Supers in extras at that point. But thought it was as comical as rest. AU luck doesnt much phase me anymore. almost expected. I also said to self that not letting Davis Daniel come back out for that inning was bad move. Was untouchable that night for most part,, and closer Greenhill had struggled down the stretch. One of those Huddy decisions i disagreed with. Not that giving up a routine F9 was a bad thing,,so we thought.. lol but Daniel wasnt giving up much solid contact if any. Played about as well as they could that series,, never an issue if do that and lose.
My worst memory from the Mac was losing to FSU after starting the season perfect. That was not the way to exit Perry Field. Covid cut what could have been a great season short.
Since were doing fav Mac memories,, actually just Perry Field at this time,,but being a ballboy and hanging out in dugout w/ Dave Falcone , Mike Stanley, etc those were main 2 I gravitated to as a 10 yr old. And tore up lots of shorts/shirts climbing that fence between baseball & track field retrieving foul balls.
I remember when there was a hill in left field and just some bleachers for seats. The game has changed.
yup there sure was a hill.. and yeah all wood bleachers at that time,, UF was on 1B side, with office rooms behind dugout,, Where we spent a lot of time..lol Was very good friends/classmates with Rhines daughter Kelly.
