Seems like it's part of their freedoms to go "bat shit crazy". It's what happens after that that is one of the issues. I know you dont care but people in other countries also go "bat shit crazy".

Yes I know and people also die there. Would you feel safer in another besides the US? If so why haven't you moved there?

I interpreted it as a response to the “why do we have to live at risk of getting slaughtered” argument, not a statement that he was scared of living without a gun.

I’m personally not at all worried about the possibility of getting shot - sure there’s an off chance that happens, but it’s so remote as to not merit conscious thought, similar to many of the similar risks I theoretically face without giving them a second thought while going about my life every day. Once you exclude suicide from the “gun violence” stats (because I’m certainly not worried about killing myself), the gun homicide rate in Florida is somewhere around 4 per 100,000.

If the definition underlying that particular statistic is the one you want to use for “gun violence,” the answer to his question is that over half of it comes from suicides.

A 10 round mag for an AR would be considered low capacity. I always preferred the 20’s, but most go for 30, 40 or da drum. Tacticoolness.

You have to also look at crime rates comparing other countries, combined with stable social programs, homogeneity, etc. It points overall issues, not just guns.

The Sandy hook nutjob also shot the security doors.

He also managed to break into a locked gun cabinet (it was a wooden cabinet not remotely close to being a secure safe).

where'd you get that term? I was walking across this bridge in Bern with a German guy that I worked with. I asked about the fences & he said it was to prevent self murder. I thought it was his bad english. The fence ends where private prop ends. I guess, if you wanna kill yourself, you gotta do it on public land/water. I love this town.
