Weirder that this would be a problem with Kentucky players. Usually, “entitlement” is a problem with players who have won a championship lately. And by lately I certainly mean since Integration. You tell me that Georgia has this problem, I could see that. You tell me Kentucky does, and my response is “Huh?”
Because beating UF is their championship. They've done it for a few years now so they have "arrived".

Stoops just trying to motivate his players. I’m in agreement with Gatorrick regarding Stoops. He’s become a sneaky, dirty coach. Our QB’s are lucky to come out of that game without serious injuries. Maybe his time at FSU rubbed off on him. I realize Bobby Bowden and Mickey Andrews retired then Stoops took over as DC after those two left but, with Jimbo at the helm it was a pretty smooth culture transition. Kash Daniels trying to twist Kyle Trasks ankle off his leg looked eerily similar to Darnell Dockett injuring Ernest Grahams knee. Dirty.
I think my meaning was clear, but I’ll spell it out. You can’t win in a meaningful way at Kentucky. The best case scenario there is to sneak into the SECCG in a season where the East is way down and give the Western opponent an easy in to the playoffs, like with South Carolina in 2010 (I think). If his yardstick is beating Florida in years that it has losing seasons, then great, he has arrived. If it’s taking a team to the next level, then he’s going to have to go somewhere else.

Then we will all thump our chests and say what a brave stand it was when he retires 15 years from now, having never won a national or conference championship or even that elusive 11th game. You are joking, right? I mean, that’s exactly the way Bear Bryant felt. I don’t think if you tried you could come up with a better example of a coach who did all he could do at Kentucky then left for a program where he could win.
You're entitled to your opinion, but not your own facts. There are a few reasons why Bear Bryant left Kentucky. First, he was offered a better salary at Texas A&M. Kentucky laughing at us is not even at the top of my list in recent humiliations. In my hierarchy of concern, they are behind Vandy laughing at us, Oregon State laughing at us, and our own former QB laughing at us as he sets records in the Combine.

Not the #1 reason dude. His family was in Texas and the money was good. The Junction Boys were his football legacy/destiny.
