Well she is a year away, but we have a 5 star coming in this class also with Reynolds. Plus getting Zippy and the PG from Texas eligible then yes we should have some pretty decent expectations. We need to get another proven interior player to go along with who we have. But we will be very deep in the backcourt and on the wing

Is Aliyah Matharu “the PG from Texas”? If so, she was also a 5*. Presumably we will lose some from this year’s squad but I don’t know anyone who has used all their eligibility?

Faith and Nina are 2 that are for sure leaving from what I understand. We will probably lose a few transfers from the news I have gotten..plus we lost Buhner early in the year back to Germany

We have 14 on the roster as Buchner is not there but Zippy is. We for sure lose two and have only one signed, I think? So looking for at least two in the portal. We hear lots of speculation from the men’s side. Anybody got anything for WBB?

Deans is listed as a senior has another year left. I presume she stays. From a size perspective, I've grown to kind of like Dut and will miss her. But Kyle is actually taller and Wyche/Wyche/Merritt are basically same (though likely not as strong.)

I hope Merritt has sorted through things and has found the joy again. I was really, really happy when she went back on the court and have tried to watch her closely since. This run hopefully puts some gas in the tank for her.

Also, kudos to OP for getting a top-level WBB thread in NBN. Perhaps we should all try in the offseason to keep some visibility on the team.

Hmm. Kyle is indeed bigger but a different type of player than Dut. Dut is more athletic, Kyle is stronger. I'd like to see Kyle really work on her footwork this offseason and develop quicker low-post moves.
I must disagree with your Wyche/Wyche/Merritt take that they are all the same (because you're wrong). Merritt is not much like the twins at all and is a far better shooter and overall offensive player than either of them.
We tend to forget about Jeriah Warren but I like her development as a player. She's always improving. Plus, she's got height and length. Possibly a starter at the beginning of next season.

You're right and in fact, this is exactly the analysis I was looking for. I'm quite junior when it comes to following the WBB roster, so much appreciated, as I'm quite excited.

I have been hard on the coach but lately things have been coming up roses for her.

I have never seen a coach with more positive interaction with players than Kelly Rae. That's 2 five stars into a program with no winning tradition. She is just getting started.

lets be honest Jordyn has shot like crap this year, but yes her skill set is much different from the twins. She can handle and pass much better and is a better off the ball defender while they are more athletic and stronger then Jordyn.
I personally love Jeriah if she was 15 lbs heavier she would be getting heavy minutes, I am afraid she may get lost in the shuffle soon

It's clear that something was going on with Jordyn at a personal level. She took a leave in midseason and just wasn't the same player she was last season. I have to believe she'll be back and better than ever this fall. That, plus Zippy, plus continued improvement from Rimdal, Warren, the Twins, Perry, and Kyle, plus two 5-star freshmen, spells good things ahead.
Speaking of Myka Perry, I think she's going to be a very good player and I expect a big sophomore jump. You could see her starting to emerge in the last third of this season.
I believe we lose Dut, Deans, Correa, and Rickards to graduation. Is that correct? I never know anymore with the weird eligibility rules. Those four helped us a lot but I think we have the returnees and newbies to be even better.
