That is right! Had many good memories watching events in the Miami Arena but that UConn game is at the top of the list

Do you know if any womens players other than the Cavinder twins are getting NIL $$? Destiny Harden should be getting paid!

I’d feel a lot better about Texas’s chances against Miami if Disu wasn’t hurt. If he can’t play against Miami (or if he’s severely limited if he can play) I’m not sure Texas will beat them.

UNC’s starting 5 was bought and paid for and they couldn’t get to the tournament.

I hope scUM’s and FAU’s success is eating at our administration. Maybe our new President can light a fire on their behinds. We know our last President didn’t give a damn about our revenue sports.

Never been a fan of Miami like most Gator faithful. Scary thing is I could have ended up a Hurricane too. Went to Miami Dade south campus. Thanks be to God I transferred up to Florida. It changed my life forever! For the better!

Admittedly, I don't know that much about Basketball. But we sure seem to be floundering a bit and losing players. We looked good with Castleton in there. While he was elite, are many of our other kids? So inconsistent. Is our new guy the right coach? When I see teams like Miami and Florida Atlantic winning and going deep into the tourney...just seems nuts. I often question our power to pull the best in our direction. Would seem we needed a guy that could pull a bunch of top talent with him. Just seems like making the tourney every year would be the minimum.

    Maybe next year...o_O:eek:

Canes are going to have problems with the officials letting Texas knock guys around just short of being buggared. Garbage officiating 9 minutes into the game.

Who cares, four more to go to tie UF. Can’t believe all these comebacks they keep making.

Canes and FAU basketball leaders in Florida. At least FAU is led by a former gator. And honestly, I have a great deal of respect for Larrañaga.

Miami had a 32-15 FT advantage. They were treated like they were Duke or Kentucky. My word!

I know, and I agree. Hurts as a Gator that’s for sure but if we are talking about to hear and now we are a distant fourth in the state

Miami probably done as UConn is the big leagues.
    I’m rooting for FAU.

Never thought I would see the day that two teams from Florida would make the final four and neither being UF.

Just makes me sad and irritated UF's basketball is stuck in mediocrity. I'm not real hopeful this will change anytime soon.

That Miami and FAU are in the FF while we lost in the first round of the NIT to UCF is a wake up call as to how far this program has fallen. Someone in Gainesville had better answer the damn phone.

That was the difference. The last 14 or so scUM points were at the charity stripe. That's the first time I ever remember someone blocking out a guy who is jumping over his back get called for the foul. He had the position. That gave the Canes the lead with the freebies and they made nothing but free throws the rest of the way.

I was pulling for UT but they got that call right. Guy boxing out backs under the Miami player while he’s in the air

My how the mighty (Gators) have fallen. We are third or lower in the state in football and both teams in basketball, if that.
