Time for a sweep! I'm glad we're getting Ole Miss early in the season because I believe they'll get better as the year goes on. Pray to whoever that Bama-Kentucky doesn't run too long, unfortunately Sunday games tend to be on the long side of the equation.
After two days of back and forth high scoring games, watch this one be a pitcher's duel for 7 innings and then we blow it open when Ole Miss goes to their bullpen. Have to think after Cags, Sully will use Slater, Abner, and Neely. I'd like to see Hartzog face a few batters if we are up big. He needs a feel for it because I think we are going to need a strikeout specialist as we go down the stretch.
Wow! What a series so far. Keep getting crooked with the sticks and scoreboard Gators! Welcome back Wyatt. GO GATORS!!!!
Just think— Bianco got no sleep last night and addressed his team this morning with complete sentences of nothing but cuss words…
Let's get the sweep guys! It's there for the taking. Good to win but I'm surprised that our weekend guys have not been consistently solid and throwing 6-7 complete innings. I thought they would be our strength but has not been the case so far against quality teams- Miami, Bama, Ole Miss.... Sproat of course the exception vs Bama. They must raise their game if this Gators team is to go as far as I expect. A small point but possibly not-- Waldrep's last two outings (both less than stellar) were in the second game of a twin bill and that perhaps gets him out of his prep. routine, even if just a bit. What do the pitchers on our panel think? Possible?

Yesterday it was Sproat who had the change.
Could Cags move to 1st Base after pitching and the new pitcher come in for the first baseman? I know ideally you want the pitcher to come out and bat only. That way you keep both batting all game.
Interesting question. Cags is the P/DH when he comes off the mound he immediately becomes DH. If he enters the game to play defensively (other the pitcher) I would think we burn the DH and have a pitcher (not named Cags) in the batting lineup. Not sure if that is how the rule is written but that’s my 2 cents.
