What exactly is emotional about the objective takes on AR and Mertz? AR made plays out of nothing through his own physical ability but in every single game missed basic plays that were there for the taking as well.

Napier's game management and play calling need improvement. It was probably the only concern I had when he was hired. With that said consistency is more important from a qb than boom or bust types. That's all most anyone wants to see from him regarding play management and emotional/leadership ability.
Rex and Doug had incredible arm talent but their hiccups in judgment and leadership never let them have the consistency needed to do it as a long term starter in the NFL. Same will be said for Mertz if he doesn't get his turnover issue in check but many have said his fundamentals are there but his system was terrible. Time will tell. Nothing emotional about it. Same for AR.

I think people are also forgetting that absolutely everybody learns on the job. No matter whether it’s a transfer within the same company, the same job with a different company, or a step up to a larger stage as it is with Coach Napier. Who can realistically expect a young guy to advance to his first P5 gig and not start out on a steep learning curve? Every coach goes through that process in their career development. The good ones learn, adapt and grow into the new and bigger responsibilities.

Everybody who has come into contact with Coach Napier says he’s legit. Never heard one negative comment from anybody (except for the trolls and impatient crybabies on this board who have probably never even seen the man, let alone talk with him). Coach is drinking from a fire hose right now - but he’s already demonstrated that he’ll make changes where change is needed. I’m confident that if given the time to work through the rough spots, he will become one of the best in the game. It would be great if that all happens in Gainesville.

Nothing emotional about that either. Go Gators

Take a look at Skinks posts. That account oozes emotional posting

Nothing wrong with objective takes. Saying AR played poorly is flat out wrong though. Sure it’s possible to be logical and just wrong but some posters let their emotions take over. Skink is the prime poster child of that

AR was 33% in passes less than ten yards. I’d bet that is the worst in the nation. 53% total is bad also. He wasn’t terrible but good wouldn’t be how I would describe him either.

He was 30th in the country objectively. He struggled with the short pass absolutely. But he is in the debate for best rusher in modern Gator football history for a guy with decent volume. That is even including the fact sacks are counted as rushing yards.

Nobody is saying that every part of his game was good.

But when you throw the elite part, the solid parts, and the bad parts in the pot you end up with….30th best QB which is well above average

I’ve just been enjoying making fun of your emotional non logical meltdowns and personal attacks. It is your reputation here after all. You dive into
Illogical emotional arguments and major personal attacks. It’s your MO
