They have never cared about public education, this is just another way of attacking it...

How is Safe Space education playing in China?

 

In my opinion, the focus here should be on the professor, not the subject matter or student. Thus, it would have been less deflecting and more on point had you observed that it's a sad state of affairs when a teacher or professor caves because a student feels "uncomfortable" with the subject matter. It's always uncomfortable when one has to reconsider one's beliefs. That's partly what education is about.

 

Well, exactly. How are snowflake people are who triggered by civil rights, DEI, CRT, etc etc any different LGBTQABCDE who may be triggered by god knows what?

 

Nah . . . it's based in my experience of living, working with, and teaching members of the LGBTQ community.

 

Agree 100% on both sides of the aisle. Part of life is learning to deal with the uncomfortable. Chance to learn and gain a valuable skill.
