If I've read all this correctly, the show which resulted in the administrative Complaint was in Miami and the show the secret agents found not lewd was in Orlando? Did DBPR file an administrative complaint with respect to the Orlando show as well? I suppose it's possible that there were minor differences, but if it was the same Christmas production, it seems like the content would have been substantially the same unless there's significant improv involved?
There was one in Miami and another one in Orlando. Both were attacked by the DeSantis administration as a part of their show of strength in the culture wars. DeSantis’ drag-show obsession targets Orlando Philharmonic | Commentary
Both venues had their liquor licenses revoked for hosting, I don't think there is a substantial difference in what went down. From what I read, there were similar photos of accompanied minors in Miami, and that's basically it.
And it worked, as we have posters here that want something done, even if they change their mind on what they want done from one thread page to the next. But what matters is that they are clearly worried or outraged at the topic, but only 100% because of the poor children.
I did not choose to focus on artistic expression. Someone else made that point earlier and I responded to it. And pretty sure the courts found the baker did not run afoul of such laws.
Thanks! I'm a fan of this approach. Make the cake sans content if they will agree and move on. What they add after the fact is not on my conscience.

According to some very sexually confused posters here, drag shows are always lewd. Also, they want all tapes of Milton Berle's cross dressing career burned.
And apparently simply seeing a man in drag would cause normal, heathy kids who are raised properly to have nightmares.
You can definitely tell by how the population of Florida is fleeing in droves vs California where people are flocking in record numbers. Conservatives like low tax states that don't shut down your business for a mild illness, don't allow cross dresser story time in public schools and don't tolerate rioters burning your city down.
What "conservatives" actually like is demanding for the government to respect their group's freedom while they use the government to strip away freedoms from groups they disfavor. After all, "conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect." P.S. It's real interesting that a "mild illness" has killed over one million Americans since it came to this country just over three years ago. You may want to see a doctor. You are showing symptoms consistent with having brain worms.
Yes a mild illness with no natural immunity and no accepted treatment due to being new to humans will likely cause lots of deaths to vulnerable populations. It's unfortunate and they should be protected to the best of our ability but the entire economy doesn't need to shutdown for it. Life has risks and they need to be accepted. I'm able to see risk, understand who is impacted most, make decisions based on this and accept the risk. If you aren't that's a you problem. And I also agree that groups who deviate from normal society shouldn't be given a podium in our public schools. I don't agree that private settings should be impacted, but for the most part I think Ron has done quite well limiting children's exposure to mental illness and other things.
We can tell your a big fan of the drag. Next time you mock me, be sure to quote me to get my direct attention. Thank so much.
I'm able to see that a virus that killed around 500,000 people in the first year it was in this country wasn't a "mild illness." If you can't see that, that's a you problem. L-O-L. This is literally a thread about DeSantis targeting businesses and parents for private decisions parents are making about what is and isn't appropriate for their children. Ron sure is doing well, eh? Has there ever even been a drag queen story hour in a Florida public school? Because it strikes me that you're commending Anti-Freedom Ron for solving a nonexistent problem.
