No, it was a Moccasin.I grew up in Florida, fishing, hunting in th swamps/woods, swimming, scuba diving and surfing. Camping out a lot too. I have seen more than my share of moccasins and rattle snakes. I have even seen huge king snakes, pigmy rattlers, water snakes, grass snakes, rat snakes, corn silk snakes, coral snakes and even black snakes.
