This will change a lot by the end of Sunday's games. Arizona (Sweet 16) Virginia (Elite 8) and Purdue (Champion) sank me. Purdue seems to perennially under-perform but they just never adjusted last night. I'm the dummy who picked them to be different this year though. Some have their entire Final 4 still playing.
Adios AU and Broome. if you’re not a gator, you’re gator bait. Well, probably not gator bait… but we will root against you, and hope someone else beats you.
After 1.5 rounds, gatorteor, llm, and I are tied for first. Tenor will be seeking a Baylor win, whereas llm and I have Creighton in that one. llm also benefits if Kentucky beats Kansas St and TCU beats Gonzaga. Those appear to be the swing games today.
Only four of the top eight seeds are left. What a bonkers tourney and here comes Michigan St doing their thing again. Them beating 2-seed Creighton was reminiscent of when they whipped our tails (same seeding) in Tampa during the Roberson/Walsh years.
Rounds one and two were both worth 32pts. After the first weekend . . . Looks right to me too. Amazing how we've all been bunched from the beginning with a point or two separating most. All those upsets really hammered us all in different ways. A couple of us would get knocked back and it looked good for a couple others and then they would get knocked back.
Sorry - the 19 is a typo on my part. Given that round two games are worth 2pts, the odd number is not possible. Those should be 18 and I've edited it. Thanks for the explanation.
Thanks. Truth is, I don't really have a method. We're all signed up on an online pool service that tabulates the scores using a 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 scoring system. I'm just reporting what the online pool shows, but the scores were not updated yet, so I calculated rd2 on my own and made a mistake.
