Now that was an exciting game to watch not just becasue it was close hard fought win but becasue it was against a good SEC Rival in Bama. Beating Bama is always fun... But shutting out Bama in baseball... priceless.
Masterful! Sproat sends a message to the SEC and the bullpen is rested for 2(?) tomorrow! Smallish crowd but definitely in to the game!

That's the best Sproat has ever pitched. He had command of all 3 pitches and just dominated. Can we see Prevesk in LF tomorrow, please, Mr. O'Sully?
A masterpiece- nothing less -and Kurland the hero with the bat and some nice back handed plays with the glove. Just a gem of a game-- less than two hours! That my friends was a magnificant performance. Sproat brilliant and just enough hitting to get us the W.
Best pitched game I've seen in a long time. Best I've seen Sproat look. That changeup makes a big difference in his game. Also some solid defensive play from both sides. Great to watch. Kurland kid is amazing.for his age.
