Kyle Trask Slated to be Bucs 2023 QB

If they give Trask a shot, I’ll watch some games. Winston turned me off to the Bucs but the nfl did that also. I’ll watch Trask though.

 

Are they going to let Mayfield live in the stadium?

 

If another team drafted him, he may have found himself in an even worse situation than he's in. Ultimately it comes down to showing enough for a team to believe in your ability, I guess they feel like he doesn't done that just yet if they keep bringing in veteran QBs.

 

It's not like they're planning to draft a QB in the first round guys, picking up back ups is just being prudent. Aaron Rodgers sat behind Favre for 3 years waiting his turn. Trask will get his shot, let's hope he doesn't get injured! That's what delayed his rise in the Orange and Blue, he could have started years earlier but was hurt at the decisive moment.

 

Obviously, but if you’re going to waste a draft, pick, you might as well find out for sure, or not draft him at all

 

As a Bucs fan i wouldn’t be shocked at all if he’s third string again. I’m not sure why but he just hasn’t seemed to impress them

 

Trask and Baker will play at different points this season. Bottom line is the Bucs will be looking for a QB in the '24 draft.

 

What about splitting up Brady’s money over say, a million a year for 35 years?

 

Agree. Mayfield has the skills of Jimmy G, with the attention span and work ethic of Cam Newton. He is actually the perfect guy to have on the roster to come in and start 2-4 games while the starter heals up.
