B ball ending season same as football team. Tough times. Down 17 to a mediocre ucf team. Looking forward to baseball.
I'm not embarrassed, but am reaching a pt of critical mass. On a DVR delay, but looking at the moment like losing seasons in football and basketball. This is the flippin' University of Florida! Something better change . . . stat.
I'm tired of this in both major sports. We are just not competitive and there is such a ah whatever attitude in so many games. We should be better than this.
I appreciate everyone on these threads. Hopefully we will have more to cheer about next season. Go Gators!
Oh..I could tell you some interesting stories about admission etc...which schools were more difficult to get into..UCF is not a slouch when it comes to who they admit..like I said..a decent school
This game is totally unacceptable. To be blown out of the gym at home to UCF is a horrible look. Todd Golden needs to be put on notice tonight that games like this will not be tolerated. If Golden doesn't show better results next year, I don't care if it's year 2, he should be shown the door.
Our team can’t hit the broad side of a barn tonight. And, we’re getting blown out at home to boot. I haven’t been this disinterested in Gator basketball since before Kruger.
Unfortunately, nobody at UF seems particularly interested in major systemic changes. The status quo works for a lot of the people in charge.
I give up. This sucks. Year one = fail. Not so much the coach, but the entire basketball program. I actually think CTG did a good job keeping this kids motivated until tonight, when they apparently wanted to have a spring break. To some extent, I don't blame them. I had break last week and needed it. This football/hoops season, though? I got little more than cussin' about it and am at the lowest point in my fanhood ever.
It sure feels that way. I guess they flipped the cameras, but the UF should have winning sports teams, even in the major sports. Hear that? We kick ass in just about everything but football and basketball.
