Kennesaw State is my local team. They play in Greensboro, North Carolina on Friday. They play Xavier, then Iowa State takes on Pittsburgh. I was curious how much the tickets were for this session. It’s 2 games of course. I just looked and at the time of this post, they can be bought for $5. Wow. One team is an overrated five seed and not eligible for a close to home first and second round and the other declined an NIT invite.
-- I get that. But $5? I don't care who's playing, that is crazy cheap. And Greensboro is a basketball city. I was shocked when I saw that price.
— Exactly. My daughter is in the eighth grade and does basketball cheerleading. Their games were $5. I looked on StubHub this morning, and prices were down to $4. So you can watch 2 college basketball games for $4. Crazy!
Greensboro is a good basketball city only because of its proximity to the "Big Four" in NC. Otherwise, it's not all that special.
Not sure how big of arena, but I imagine those seats are nosebleeds. Still it’s likely you could sneak down to better seats (especially on top level)
