Him, will Richard and Jones, will have to shoot good percentage shots to have a chance. we had CC when we beat South Florida. JJ and hopefully Alek S. Come in and help battle their bigs and provide good defense. It will be close. Reasoning, UCF always wants to beat big brother, we usually sleep walk beginnings these games. We need to come out with some good play, focus and fire, or we will be trying to catch-up like most of the games we played!

Hopefully there will be a good crowd. Being right in the middle of spring break isn’t going to help.

All those wins against tourney teams for UF came with Castleton playing so I'm not sure that is a good comparison.

I'm torn. On one hand I want to seem him mature and let the game come to him and score an easy 20. On the other hand I want to see him take most of the shots and score 36.

Perhaps the pressure is off the whole team and they go out and have fun and make shots and win a few.

So the Gators have been picked to play in the NIT. Now I know the origin of the term nitpicking. Learning all the time.

Good point, you're right about that. But hey, I'm just trying to find something to be optimistic about :). Also, it's worth noting UCF's relative (lack of) strength. Hopefully they play a mediocre game and the Gators whip 'em.

We need our guards, because at times coach plays that 4 guard offense, to shoot a decent %. 42-45% would be nice.

If those guys are on UF is quite competitive.

And of course rebounding is crucial to our success (or lack thereof).

Particularly having a competitive balance with UCF on the offensive boards.

Can't be 3-1 against us if we expect to win as it was against Mississippi State.

I think the pg for Memphis that just went off on Houston was injured at the time. Davis is the real deal, Penny has a good team, don’t know if the kids go to school or not, LOL.

Penny is Dana Kirk Lite. He got a much lighter punishment but won a lot less.

His team that played Houston looked very good.
If they shoot and rebound like this they will be a tough out in the NCAA tournament.

There will not be a good crowd. I have never seen such a lag from the UAA regarding tickets to the NIT game tonight in the Exactech Center. It was a good day and a half after the Sunday NIT announcement regarding our Wednesday night game with UCF, that the University started advertising tickets. As a ticket holder I usually get first dibs on my regular season seats for events like tonight. I received no such notice from the ticket office for tonight's game. I live seven or so miles from the Exactech Center and I intend to watch the game at home. As far as students are concerned, unless they are married or foreign students, they are not on campus due to spring break. With the university void of students and local Gainesvillians out of town as well, my wife and I always take this opportunity to venture down to the Archer Rd. area and partake of resturants we don't get near when everyone is back in town.
I will be surprised if the Odome is half full this evening.

That's inexcusable for a UAA that has so many staff & resources. It's postseason play and they should be working to get folks to the game.

Too bad the game wasn’t in Orlando.

Does Castleton have any eligibility left?
