I have a decent-ish memory of that trip to MSG they did preseason the first year, when the winning streak started. Went in pretenders, came out, everybody was talking about them.
I was a bit disappointed in the show… thought it was a disservice to UF basketball. They featured the LSU team and individuals much more. Same old SEC BS ! It just means more unless it’s the Gators .. Back to Back and that’s all we get ???
Went to both Final Fours in Indianapolis, best sporting event I have ever attended. Even, Indy 2000. In 2000 drove Gainesville to Indy in a Miata, flew into Louisville in '06, lesson learned.

I am still attempting to reconcile, what I consider UF's greatest sporting accomplishment. For me it's a tie between 1996 football and 2006 Basketball.
For me it's owning both the basketball and football crowns at the same time. That was amazing and hopefully will never be done again (unless by us). Can't pull for bama in the NCAA tourney this year!
I agree. This program briefly mentioned the 2000 team making the title game, but didn't give that team (or Donovan) enough credit. That great Gator team beat Lon Kruger's Illinois team, #1 Duke in the regionals, and North Carolina in the Final 4.
