Sounds like State grabbed a very good QB, if he sticks.

 

Why would he go there. The coach passed and what’s the attraction. Normally they don’t acquire top qbs but it’s understandable at ol miss with kiffen there. Miss st just seems $trange.

 

They got rid of Steve Spurrier Jr as WR coach as well. UF needs a WR coach last I heard?? Of course went to Tulsa as OC and QB coach after firing upon MSU HC’s passing. SS Jr had good WR coaching resume in college ball. Napier could have hired him.

 

Interesting that he went to HS at a boarding school in Chattanooga.

If you want a very good WR coach Jr is very good.

He’s not great in recruiting. When he was at SC as WR coach he wouldn’t offer Alshon Jeffery because he was “to slow”. Shane Beamer at the time who was recruiting coordinator went to HBC and said Alshon was a special talent and AJ would kill it..

HBC gave Beamer his blessing for offering AJ a scholarship… it worked out great.

Steve Jr = absolute great WR coach though.

Billy Gonzales is a better hire anyway.
