KU/TX putting on a good show. These are two good teams. Speaking of good teams, how about what Penn St is doing? I suspect they will come back to Earth against Purdue, but they've enjoyed crazy success lately and have played their way into the tourney.
Marquette is really good. Beat my March Madness favorite UConn yesterday and up 15 on Xavier at the half. Shaka Smart can coach
Yeah, shortly after our game against UConn, I took a flyer on them to win it all. That's not looking as good as it did then. You're right about Marquette, too. They are for real.
Watching a couple football schools competing for the SEC tournament championship. It's giving me indigestion.
Houston struggling against Memphis; Bama probably gets the #1 seed. Actually, since Bama won at Houston, they should get the #1 regardless.
Hard to tell who gets the fourth #1 seed. I'm thinking Bama - Purdue - Houston - then? If based on recent performance, maybe Arizona. I'm guessing that the fourth #1 seed is either Zona, KU, or Gonzaga. Maybe UCLA, because they were better in conference than AZ, but that's a tough sell when AZ went 2-1 against UCLA. Hard to put KU there when they got blown out by TX.
Hoping to get my March Madness mojo back. I’ve bounced in and out of the tournaments. Not nearly as engaged as normal.
Micah Shrewsberry, Penn State's coach, is one hell of a coach. They have been tough as nails for the last couple of months and gave Purdue all it could handle today.
If KY gets by Providence, they will face Keyontae Johnson and the Kst Wildcats. Guess I'll be a big Kst fan in the tourney.
Looking at it more closely, it appears the tourney selection committee was intrigued by the potential for a TX/A&M matchup in the second round. Penn St might be a tough out for A&M, though.
