Let me ask you this. Do you think that government red tape is a huge hindrance?

Are you aware of just how little of PPs budget goes to thei token adoption assistance programs?

Are you aware of how much surplus profit PP has stockpiled over the years that could have gone to improving that program?

I dont doubt what you say has some truth, but it would be nice is someone on your ßide actually owned the truth that I am preaching as well.

My god you may be the most childish poster on this board. Show me on the doll where the mean church goer hurt you.

Yeah I'm a mod, and yeah I said that. Report me if you wish.

You're getting shot down by the left and the right. You are clearly intolerant of anything that doesnt align with you.

Your ignorance of "religion" is kindergarten like.

For starters, explain how the scriptures written by countless different people over thousands of years (most discovered later, centuries after they were written) all align in their story? Those people lived on different continents and never met.

You act like some screenplay was written 8n a hollywood office by a tight knit team over the course of a few weeks

Ignorant mindsets are not limited to those you choose to bestow them on. Education is not limited to the ones you deem educated.

And you likely have the misconception that you are the open minded one.

    Laughable.

Do some evil people capitalize on it? Yes. False prophets exist in all walks.

Let me guess, you think all attorneys, coaches and teachers are evil too because they prey on victims too.

This is the last response I will have to you in this thread. You're clearly not able to handle the depth of the subject matter.

    Oh and....
Someone on the left just told you

From the people I know that have tried to adopt, the only “red tape” I’ve witnessed is how long each step of the approval process takes, but it seems less like red tape and more like lack of resources/funding for each step to be processed efficiently. The 3 families I know personally were approved within ~6-9 months of first filing. What took long was getting connected with expecting women and choosing a child to try and adopt. The 2 families that did adopt each passed on several opportunities for babies suspected of either fetal alcohol or opiate issues. The third family miraculously got pregnant within a month of their adoption approval. And I don’t judge any of them for that decision. That’s a major complication to willingly sign up for with a new child; I can’t fault anyone unwilling to sign up for those challenges.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard a Republican candidate or official advocate for more funding for DCF or focused funding for adoption services through Planned Parenthood, have you? Can we not agree that, if PP were given millions more in funding that was limited to supporting adoption, they would likely comply with the legal restrictions on that extra funding?

To add, I’ve never heard a Democrat advocate for more funding for adoption services either, but they’re also not the party actively pushing towards a world with more unwanted children.

Man that's so dumb. Like the date doesn't matter. Dictating to a woman, from day one of her pregnancy, that she must give birth is forced birth. Giving a woman 4 months or so to decide whether she wants to have a baby or not is not forced birth.

A lot of pro-choice advocates sound a lot like the pro-slavery advocates during the Civil War.

“Don’t tell me what I can and can’t do with my property.”

“We need equality, and that means the right of everyone to own slaves.”

    Democrats never change.

Only to someone who hasn't thought things through very well. There is a universe of difference between insisting on control over one's own body and wanting to own another person.

Odd little "flow of consciousness" posting devoid of any valid points.

What is the woman’s interest in an unwanted fetus she’s holding inside of her?

Says the person who wants to dictate the date. If a woman wants an abortion at 4 months and you say no, then you are pro forced birth. You are dictating that she must give birth nad carry the baby for 5 more months in her body.

Sorry that bothers ya'll so much.

It doesn't bother me at all. It just makes you look dumb. You are forced birth from conception. I am pro-choice. The forced birth tag clearly bothers a lot though, which is why you had to come up with such tortured reasoning to try to defend it.

You’ve really doubled down on this childish line of thinking - in response to being correctly dubbed as being for forced birth.

A vast majority of sane people recognize there is some reasonable and logical cut off, at which point a fetus has developed to a point to where they deserve substantial protections, and those rights exceed the rights of the mother to control her own body within most circumstances. You will find most people are not for aborting a fetus at 8 months, except under the most extreme circumstances. At the same time, a vast majority do not think a pea size fetus that looks like a fish, has no brain, no cognition, no memory, no feeling, no pain, no substantial cardiovascular systems and nowhere near viability has rights that exceed the right or a mother to control her happens in their body.

While I don’t have exact data I’m going to conclude that most people think that cutoff should be between somewhere between 15 weeks and viability.

So keep up your efforts to equate force a woman to endure an 8 month pregnancy with an undeveloped embryo to that of women aborting an otherwise viable fetus.
