So it’s another BASERUNNING issue !! Never ends does it !? That and defending the bunt!!

 

Does anyone know why our pitcher was taken out after 70 something pictures today? Is there another injury out there that we don’t know about?

Orginally I thought Ursitti then Slater in case of a run rule. I'd really like to see Ursitti but not surprised Sully kept Slater in to finish it. If Ursitti does not pitch tomorrow then I'm really hoping he starts Tuesday.

 

If you had told me before the game we will only hit one HR by a starter my last guess would have been Halter. Hopefully he has started to get hot and stay hot at the right time.

 

Sully said the Starters are on a 75 pitch count because of the 6 day turn around for the Alabama 3 game series that starts on Thursday.
Siena has done a good job getting our pitch counts up unfortunately.

 

I was at the game and didn't have the benefit of a replay but it looked like Robertson was called out as if it was a force out and no tag was applied.

I bet when Sully complained he was told "You are up by 11. Give us a break."

On TV, when Sully came out of the dugout the 2nd base umpire came up to him and said, "He tagged him."

 

Agree, and maybe Nesbit 4-30 to 35 pitches on Tuesday? As would really like to have him this weekend also against Bama.

He has hit LHP very well. He actually has more homers than BT

 

Good point on the LHP as I've been pushing that narrative for a few weeks and I missed he was facing a LHP. What I meant by it was Halter has not been making good contact lately. He's got some to drop in and find their way thru but we haven't been seeing many to the walls for doubles or scaring any outfielders. That homerun tied with with BT at 2.
