A pretty rowdy demonstration with some inexcusable, criminal behavior by the people who did not enter the capital. Regarding those that entered the capital, some really stupid mayhem and criminal behavior by some really stupid people.

However, what is a bit problematic to harshly criticize some that were in the capital, as it appears they were allowed to enter the capital and were escorted around the building by police. That seems to fly in the face of any characterization akin to a “violent insurrection”.

 

I believe the problem with your thought is the belief, assumption that the discussion, especially from and by the left and their MSM …. is reasonable, intelligent, honest, and objective. To date, much of what has been said and written by the left regarding this incident has been colored by partisan political rhetoric in an effort to inflame a hysteria.

 

It was obvious what was happening watching it live before anyone in the media even started putting their spin on it.

Anyone who excuses or minimizes what happened that day should be embarrassed and ashamed.

 

Was this before or after he committed acts of Civil Disorder, Obstruction, Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building, Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building, Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building, Parading, Demonstrating, and Picketing in a Capitol Building? And before you dismiss some of those charges as minimal, think about how you and other cons lambasted protesters for similar acts.

Yes, there is a lot of proof that he did those things. I mean, are you really arguing that a guy who was photographed multiple times sitting in the VP's chair in the Senate didn't enter a restricted building, engage in disorderly or disruptive conduct in a restricted building, or parade, demonstrate, or picket in the capitol building? And we have video of his entry as part of the mob busting their way into the building.

If you put a 24-hour video camera on someone that committed crimes, that person would not be criming on every single moment of that video. Therefore, you could cherry pick video to show them not criming and pronounce them as innocent.
