EH not sharp. HBP, BB, HBP and no outs. Finally a pop up on a 3-2 count for out 1. 1-3 scores a run. EH probably had an out at the play, but took the easy out at first. L-7 to end the inning. 13-3
Not a very inspirational outing from Hightower, this won't fly come SEC time. Hopefully just an off day
I’ve always wondered, at least they allowed for 2hours between games this tournament rather than the usual 90min
I gave EH a lot of grief last season but like Ocala said she is what she is. Which imo is a solid number two pitcher who’s had to be an ace. It’s not her fault our ability to recruit top pitching prospects spiraled after Jen Rocha departed. I have certainly been spoiled with the wealth of pitching talent the gators have had over the years. At the end of the day the program accomplished much more with EH than we would have without her.
But here's the thing , in 2021 when she was healthy she had an ERA of 1.78 in SEC play, 15 appearances and 13 starts. So she has been very good versus SEC hitters in a solid sample size
