@shane4three is the season champion and so this and any other games will be just for fun. On Jan 21, the Gators defeated the Bulldogs on their own court 61-59. Can the Gators repeat the feat? At 16-15 (9-9), the Gators face off against the 20-11 (8-10) Miss St Bulldogs in round two of the SECt Thursday at 1pm. The game will be broadcast on SECn. While this game has little impact upon the Gators, the Bulldogs are vying for an NCAA bid. Perhaps the pressure will get to them. Let's hope so and that the Gators play loose, but shoot firm. Pick the score, the MVG, and the SoG, which will be Richard + Kugel pts. It seems that to win, the Gators will need strong output from these two. My pick: Gators 63 Bulldogs 62 Mvg Richard SoG: 26 (Richard 15/Kugel 11 but ya don't gotta specify)
Any other people concerned this might be one of those games that has some biased officiating to ensure an MSU win so they get in the tournament? A UF victory might cost the SEC another team in the tourney.
Good point. I've seen a few games with terrible officiating in favor of the team desperate for a bid (ex. Michigan vs. Illinois last week. Illinois won in o/t, but should have won the game by 15 in regulation).
Based on this statement from last game, "Congrats to shane for the championship and thank you to everyone for playing", I didn't know we were still playing the game.
Good game, but tough game. Lofton was MVG. This was overall the best pick, but g8way was also w/in 2pts of the final score. Good call folks! SoG was 20. We needed a better game from Richard.
