OGT- Florida vs UCF 3/8/23 SEC+ 7 PM

Really hard when I was checking baseball, softball and basketball last Saturday

Great to have Delbrey back. Didn't watch it all, but seems like one of her better games. Always great to beat the instate teams.

Nice win against a good team finally. I’d like to see them making offensive adjustments a lot sooner though and just choke up and hit the dang change up, especially when that’s all the pitcher can throw for a strike lol.

 

During the game I thought she might be pitching to contact. I looked up the stats after getting home -- she has been averaging almost six strikeouts per game, tonight = one. Too small a sample size to see whether something different is being tried, but agree, one of her better games and no walks, HBP or WP.

 

Great game from Lexie tonight. Skylar being Skylar. Looks like Pollard is going to be a stud in Gainesville for the next 4 seasons.

 

Yea, that's what I was thinking while watching. Ignore the fastball and just sit, waiting for that changeup.

 

I really like the cross sport involvement in the ladies sports. They were really involved with the fans during the autograph session. I am not an autograph person, but spoke with them all, and they were very gracious. They went to the berm at the beginning of the game and got on the big board. After that, about one-half the team sat a couple of rows in front of us. They were very involved in the game and cheered for the team.
Some of them went to the baseball game, at least Elli did. (Jac)
Spring volleyball starts March 25 with a match against Miami in the Lemerand Center.

 

Need to get Walsh going, has not been productive for several games now......more K's than hits and walks combined over last 6 games
