So if the majority’s moral code is to say beat women for not obeying men that’s okay? Didn’t realize we had a Taliban member here…
Come on he was called out about his comments of the incidence of irregular menses and presented a link with specific numbers that some were calling for. Presenting facts is now mansplaining?
Actually no men here have suggested that, at least one female has made the suggestion that men shouldn’t have an opinion in the matter. The idea has been a central theme for the pro life groups since RvW was overturned.
Again, liberties are under attack from the fringe left and right. This is what happens when the center doesn't have a voice in politics. You get dumb legislation.
Have an opinion on whatever you want but why would men get to have say in a woman’s medical choice? Or even another woman? Bizarre. Anyways, yes it was suggested 6 weeks was a gift for women.
I don’t know the source of your information but 6 weeks is 2 weeks after the first missed period, so it seems unlikely. The 6 weeks is actually measured from the beginning of the cycle, so you aren’t really pregnant 6 weeks.
Because although some want to frame it simply as just a “medical procedure” it really isn’t. Another human life is involved. It’s not as simple as some would like it to be. I’m sure some like to think of it that way because it’s easier for them to deal with the situation that way. You don’t see debate about other medical procedures because it’s not the same thing. Funny how it was fine for people to want forced shots on people but how dare anyone have any comments or thoughts about abortion unless they are the ones getting the abortion. Quite the quandary IMHO.
Thanks for permission to have an opinion. Not saying that you fall into the group that literally has said men should have no opinion in the matter but they do exist.
America's Abortion Quandary Majority of adults say abortion should be legal in some cases, illegal in others Basically you fall in the 37% who think abortion should be illegal in all or most cases. Specifically you fall into 27% that says illegal in most cases with exceptions. Only about 10% say it should be illegal in practically all cases. I would not call your position “moderate”. You are definitely in the minority, yet you think your view should be applicable to almost 2/3 of the population who disagrees with you.
I appreciate the logic to their position. I don't think their position is that you can't have an opinion, just that you shouldn't have a vote. It works that way, anyway. If you impregnate a woman you can't force her to have an abortion or prevent her from having one. I wonder why that is? It is their body, maybe? Would you want women voters deciding whether or not you could have penal enhancement surgery?
Not many. Much more prevalent in the 13-15 age group. But enough to shine a light on this piece of shit law and provide plenty of campaign fodder.
Your data is correct but misleading. Bill gates is leading the charge for drinkable water. Christians do adopt children at a higher rate but it’s babies and typically white. Most orphans aren’t white and aren’t infants. They live in the hell that is foster care. Most of the foster parents are Christian too. Doesn’t keep them from abusing the kids in their care.
Actually I think people like you who think they are on the side of god are being used by the deplorable. Calling a fetus or a zygote a baby is absolutely deplorable. Words have meaning. You aren’t using the term baby correctly. You are using it wrong to get people to agree to your non biblical nonsense.
Well sure. It is “human” and is “alive”, but in the early stages it has no cognition, no feeling, no pain, no memory, no fully functioning circulatory system, and is months away from being viable. It really has no characteristics we typically associate with human life, other than having human dna tissue and composed of live cells. Yet even then you think it’s rights are superior to the rights of rights of a woman to control her body and make her own health decisions.
I being a conservative don’t think this is a government decision. I think whatever a woman and her caregiver decide it’s none of my business. All those who claim to be libertarian and want to tell women they don’t know what to do are hypocrites.
