Parking info please?

I will be at a couple of the Alabama games next week. I have searched the forum for info on parking and found very little. There were a couple of posts in a game thread-but that is about all!

My question--how is handicap parking around the stadium ( a perk of a kidney transplant LOL)! It appears it is close to the stadium. Does it fill quickly? Meaning I would need to get there hours before or can I get 90 minutes before the game? Also, is it safe from balls leaving the park (it is a rental I will be driving)?

Any other suggestions about parking in general at the stadium?

    Thanks!!

Get to the stadium parking lot about an hour and twenty minutes before and you should find plenty of spots at the main lot at the stadium. I don't know about handicap but I rarely miss if I'm there an hour and 15 minutes early. Midweeks are easier depending on who we play but weekends you have to get there like I said. I have never seen a car that has been hit by a foul ball in that lot but I do try to park a few rows further away from the stadium side. I've asked some of the gate people and no one I've talk to had seen a car get hit.

    Addendum....
I checked the softball schedule and they have home games on the 17th(Fri) and 18th(Sat) as well. That will be a problem for parking. Friday both sports start 30 minutes apart so traffic will be terrible. Get there really early like almost 2 hours early and use the Ballpark Way entrance from the south. On Saturday softball is at 2 and baseball is at 4 which means all the softball fans will already have most of the spots at the stadium which really stinks. My advice if you can't get there early is park across the street at the Fifield lot and take the trolley ride across Hull Road. Ballpark Way takes you straight into the Fifield lot as you pass by the stadium.

And have them take you to the Scout/ADA entrance.

Also tip the trolley drivers. They are not paid by the UAA and survive on the tips they get.

Thanks I had looked at that previously. Not much there which seems to true of most parking info pages LOL

Thanks Matherly!! That is what I was looking for! Good to know the cars are safe! And I do plan to arrive early and someone DM'ed me and said it is spring break--so that likely will help as well.

As to Saturday I will be in Palatka, in all likelihood, for a birthday party.

    Thanks again!!

Thanks Lurker! And I always tip generously! Worked as a taxi driver for a bit for extra income (kids are expensive at times LOL). And tips were most of the income!!

I always tip generously in Gainesville. I don't trust students to tip well.

I hope that they let this stay:
