Sure but 1 in 3 is what I would call extremely common.

Do you believe 1 in 3 havent noticed their two weeks late? Seems that willful ignorance may be at play in some of that, agree?

This is unfair BCG. It isnt deplorable to consider an unborn baby as a valuable human life. You can disagree, but that doesnt make one deplorable.

Resorting to violence or hateful speech is deplorable, but not simple support for such measures.

No idea. But suffice to say women not realizing they are pregnant at 6 weeks is extremely common.

The silver lining should this piece of shit law get passed is it will result in countless horror stories of 11 year olds being forced to give birth etc etc. Desantis will be done.

My point is this is red meat for the hardcore righties. I’m sure he’ll try to pivot back to the center on this if he makes it to the general but it won’t work.

Some women have VERY irregular periods. They wouldn't necessarily realize that they were pregnant, especially if they are younger.

Yup. With our son, my wife took a number of tests that came back negative. Took another home one and calculated she was 7 weeks pregnant. Went to her OB/GYN who told her "Nope. You're ELEVEN weeks pregnant."

If I were Dem in the FL Legislature, I would add an amendment to the bill seeking to expand Medicaid for pre-natal care and funding for post-partum care as well as day care. Force the GOP to either stand up to being Pro-Life, or not.

Not quite like for like, this wasn’t exactly Walgreens “will”. Walgreens would obviously be happy to sell these fully FDA approved drugs. The republicans states are imposing their will against Walgreens here. California’s stance is basically, “if you won’t even stand up for yourselves, we have no use for you”. Its 2nd derivative, not 1st derivative.

RD retaliation was straight up because he didn’t like Disney’s speech or stances on diversity and inclusion. Ironically his retaliation was to eradicate what should have been conservative Utopia, a private entity completely taking care of public services like fire, police, permitting, infrastructure. Totally different set of factors. Additionally canceling a contract is not the same as a big guv commie takeover of private property by the state - which is what you have with Comrade Desantis destroying conservative utopia (bye bye fiscal conservatism) to fight nonsensical social warrior issues.

This makes the point I think most prolifer's can attest to. If the goal of the prolife movement is to reduce abortions, from your graph, like 95% of abortions happen in the first 15-16 weeks. So, if the goal is to reduce them, why would 16 weeks make sense to a prolife proponent?

Forcing everyone to follow laws based on that belief -- especially when that belief is held by the minority of Americans -- is the deplorable part.

They don’t get to reduce abortions someone else is getting. In fact theyre not. Theyre just making it more inconvenient temporarily. What an accomplishment. They are also cementing the Democratic party’s future as the majority.

All laws force someone to to do something. The majority/minority part isnt really in play.

But voting ones conscience isnt deplorable. Acting out in a violent or hateful way would be, but not simply supporting it.

I’ll say my goodbyes now. Your post was completely ad hominem and uncalled for. You won’t last long here.
Try the post again and stick to your opinion of the issue.

Imposing your moral code onto others when your moral code represents the minority is absolutely wrong. And it being a minority opinion of the constituency is absolutely in play for what's supposed to be a representative democracy.

You just happen to agree with it in this circumstance and so don't have an issue.
