No one ever disliked him or thought he lacked a ton of talent. There were valid criticisms (like are aplied to every player during analysis of the team) for issues in his game over the last 3 years. In fact, it was recognition of his talent that caused disappointment when he didn't always take advantage of his skills. He has matured and so has his game.....and he's playing great baseball. Some, who shall remain nameless, just have a blind spot for a few select players
