Maybe it's just me but I don't see anything indecent about an entertainer in an humorously absurd costume reading to young children. Personally I see little substantive difference between the two photos below:

The single biggest group that supports partitioning are Trump supporters. And the single best determinant of who voted for Trump was how much demographic change was occurring where they live.
So maybe for some, not even consciously, it is a way to get back to a white south for instance. Relive the 1950’s with segregated societies where folks can take care of their own.

Even better - split the country up into 13 districts with the Capital as the hub and annually we hold a game where each district send one male and one female. Yeah, read this book already. Not going to happen because isn't that why the Civil War failed? The fact is, each state relies on another for resources. To split the country at the Mason-Dixon line impacts roughly 200 points-of-interest. With this government, it would take them 75 years to finish their opening argument. Both parties are pro corporations. It used to be that the republicans were pro business and democrats were pro labor. Now both parties are pro big business. It’s sad.

 

If anyone really wanted this couldn’t we just repass the tenth amendment and say we mean it. I remember in my 7th or 8th grade civic class there was a picture in the textbook of an Upton Sinclair for governor sign. He was running as a socialist. The caption under the sign is that under our federal system states could try out different ideas if they worked all states would adopt if they failed only one state was harmed.

I doubt anyone in your business cares about your politics. They want you to do your job well and respect your co-workers, all your coworkers no matter their pigmentation and what they have in their underwear.
