Agreed, anyone with an IQ over 10 new long ago that FOX, owned by that Australian Facist Control freak family named "MURDOCK" was an intellectually dishonest and non newsworthy organization. The Murdocks screwed England and they screwed the USA with their propogandish lies and manipulations. For those that get pissed by this revelation read Mr. Murdocks deposition. He clearly admitted that fact. Faux confuses the stupid by airing a couple hours of legit news surrounded by 22 hours of right wing, facist propoganda. Its not news, it's entertainment, geared to the intellectually stupid, that enjoy seeing some pretty broadcasters disparage the American system of Gov't, to line their own pockets. Wake the "F" up!
sadly, there are lots of people with a good IQ that still believe Fox. This is emotional, not intellectual, at this point. No amount of proof or evidence will convince them they were wrong
Yes they do and it's for a reason. A very unseemly and illegitimate reason, to put money and power ahead of facts. Faux news changed the entire social discourse of right wing American Politics into the rabble led, racist, successionist, Putin loving scum that it is today.
While Fox News led the pack the late Rush Limbaugh and other right-wing talk show hosts along right-wing websites and social media also played a role.
This is the best explanation I have read so far to explain how someone can still trust Fox. They emotionally cannot stomach being “wrong,” so they ignore, or excuse, the adverse facts.
Also keep in mind that those people are also completely in the Fox bubble. Fox News itself is not covering the stories about the admissions from its infotainment stars and others at Fox that didn't believe that the election denial narrative was credible. They do not watch CNN, MSNBC or any of the news on programs the broadcast networks nor do they view any websites or read any periodicals other than those within the right-wing silo. The difference between them and citizens of North Korea is that North Koreans are not able to access alternative news sources. Fox News viewers have the option of viewing and/or reading news from a variety of sources and voluntarily elect not to utilize that option. Perhaps the greatest success of the right-wing media broadly has been discrediting the so called mainstream media to the point where its consumers voluntarily elect to not even consider reading/viewing news from other sources.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/media/2023/03/07/fox-news-lawsuit/ Two months after the election and just days before Jan. 6, Fox host Tucker Carlson texted with an unknown Fox employee about how badly he wanted to stop covering Trump. “We are very, very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights,” Carlson texted Jan. 4, 2021. “I truly can’t wait.” “I hate him passionately,” Carlson added.
Can’t understand why Fox doesn’t muzzle him. Every show he does is adding to the jury award for class action lawsuits and the the award for Dominion and Smartmatic. Incredibly bad judgement which Rupert should know by now….
The Capitol police were none too pleased. Not sure the latest Tucker nonsense is relevant to the voting machines lawsuits, could be relevant to lawsuits involving individual Capitol police officers who were injured or a class-action. Either way, just shows more bad faith @ fox
Absolutely relevant to shareholder lawsuits and just a pole on when it gets to the other two (he’s said plenty relevant to the others and it g a pattern of behavior tolerate by Fauxxleadership
More revelations today. Like I have been saying, not settling before discovery was he dumbest thing they could have done. Now even if they win, they lost. Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham panicked and texted that Fox News 'hates us' after calling Arizona for Biden and bragged about their 'enormous power' at the network
Whether it's called a horse dewormer or more accurately an anti-parasitic (it is prescribed to deworm horses and other livestock by the way) it's still a quack remedy when it's used to treat Covid.
I am just going to disagree on a very narrow point - Fox is doing a great job of limiting what legal, actual damages Dominion can claim. Dominion’s claim of 1.6 billion, or whatever their settlement demand, just might not comport with reality.
Disagree. The economic damages don’t justify it but punitive damages can certainly get them there. Fox let the talent speak absolute fiction injurious to dominion and Smartmatic with impunity Spoken as a non lawyer
In spite of the outcome of the trial, I fully expect the firehose of Fox bullshit to continue; ratings you know....
Is it simply a First Amendment issue? https://www.mediamatters.org/howard...-argument-defend-fox-news-lies-about-dominion
I don't know if Fox's lies are really the primary issue. That was obvious to everyone. It's more about the near total coordination and control between Fox execs including Rupert Murdoch and high level GOP politicians. It's their status as right wing pravda.
