that’s kind of the type play where he injured himself - maybe being overly cautious.

 

No argument here, you are correct but I’ll say it one more time—the best umpires are the ones that when you’re leaving the ballpark—you don’t even remember.

 

Neely was doing so well

 

You know our offense hasn't done anything to their bullpen since the 3rd inning. Basically just putting everyone to sleep and now Miami has momentum. There is no excuse for not doing better vs their bullpen. I hate to bag on our hitting, but they have sucked the last 4 innings. We have to have more grit than that and keep the gas on.

Our bullpen is struggling, so help them out.

We need to get out of this inning..really ridiculous that we have not scored a run...it all started back when the supposed time out was called and the ball that was fair called foul

 

His second inning he was really hanging his breaking ball—no real bite to it at all.
Must be the lingering effects of fighting the flu.

 

Neely is a 1-inning closer, apparently. Not a 3 inning, just finish the game guy. Up to the true freshman to settle it all down.
