It's leaving guys in too long. I'm a fan of pitching 6 guys in an inning if it takes that long to find a guy that can throw strikes. Practice is when you give guys a longer leash. Not vs Miami.
That's all she wrote. Great job Sully. You proved something. Not sure what. I know JD would have made 3 pitching changes before you did. Now Miami can save their closer to tomorrow.
To some extent yes I agree but wouldn’t you agree he has been continuing to try the same thing over and over with the same guys and expecting a different result? Isn’t that the definition of chaos/insanity this is beyond bad. Pen Dane way last year and now 12 games in Purnell, Jameson, can’t get job done yet we keep giving chances. Why?
If Sully claps twice, it was intentional. If he doesn't clap, but leaves him in then it was unintentional.
They bring their closer in. We keep Our closer resting. At 6-5- you bring him in. Win the series tonight!!!
Absolutely, all day long you are correct. And there are still one or two other guys that need the opportunity to try to see what they can do.
Evans has been seeing hard times of late. Hope he can get out of this and it isn't a situation where he was feasting on poor pitching and when he faces the good pitchers he whiffs.
