I've had 2 girlfriends from Miami. First one was when I was a sophomore at UF in '73-'74. Her sister owned a record/music shop in Gainesville and we met when I was there buying records and she was up visiting her sister. The 2nd was one I've known since my teens, but we didn't date until we were in our 40's. Her Dad was a high school football coach for many years in Miami, and they knew everyone. He also played both defense and offense for FSU when the football team was first getting going. They were both surfer chick types with long blond hair - loved horses - the whole nine yards.... Lot of great memories all around from those two "eras".....
