Tell that to the 1.13 million who died. Better yet, their family members who still survive, including the 10.5 million kids who lost a primary or secondary care giver. In sure you telling them COVID really wasn't that bad will be real comforting.

Now, imagine had 3X as many people had died. Really think that's preferable?

I regularly disabuse people of the notion that their loved ones died of Covid. Of course they generally don’t take it well. But I get tired of all the sanctimony ...

A sad need for attention is real & he's not clever enough to get it in less stupid ways. lying (he believes in viruses) & hurtin' others is a cost he's willing to incur b/c attention is the only currency that matters, at least, in his TH existence.

I’ll do you better than that. At the height of pan-panic, had I crashed my car into a tree, succumbed to my injuries having also tested positive, my death certificate would have been stamped COVID.

Stop making crap up. Just like the models that scared you and were wrong.

You need to let your hyperbolic fear go!

No one’s making up the excess deaths. They were the indirect result of a made-up crisis.

What am I making up. The 1.13 million dead? The 10.5 million kids who lost a care giver? Or trying first to go for herd immunity, the death total increases? All linked before from reputable sources. I'll link them again, if needed.

I'm not making things up. And unlike you, my conclusions are supported by actual data. Can you say the same?

“Now, imagine had 3X as many people had died.”

Pure made up nonsense. But you allowed the fear to control you into believing models that were completely wrong. Models that had you believe the fatality rate was some crazy high number when it is basically the same as the flu.

Let your fear go. It was a bad disease. Not denying that. But we caused far more damage by what we did.

Then the whole world is evil Q. Everyone did the same damn thing. Everywhere shut down. Get over it and quit crying like a giant baby. Good god man.

People need to be held accountable. You can ignore it and try to sweep it under the rug. That is fine. Wrong decision imo.

I’d love to hear you explain how your “targeted approach to protect the most vulnerable” would also grant open access to hospitals and nursing homes so those folks don’t have to be alone.

    Gaslight take.

    1. You have to survive an infection to get “natural” immunity. You get a vaccination so you don’t risk not surviving on your way to immunity. This is a gaslight of history.

    2. Mask reduced the likelihood of infected people spreading. That was the gist. No one said it was an immunity bubble.

    3. School closures affected learning just like work closures affected jobs. It’s not the closures fault, it’s the spreading pandemic to blame.

I stay off this thread usually due to the utter lying gaslighting and moronic takes. Thought I’d pop in. My mistake.

Best decision I ever made was blocking Q, 95, and Bluke. This thread reads so much better without their moronic garbage spreading throughout it. Especially Q, dude is a damn dental receptionist and thinks he’s some pandemic expert.
