lost any respect I ever had for Jeb

Jeb Bush scrambling to put out firestorm over DeSantis praise (msn.com)

In his comments with Fox's Brian Kilmeade made recently, Bush stated that DeSantis has been an "effective governor."

But, as Politico Playbook is reporting, Bush "added that 'Florida could be a model for the country,' that DeSantis could help lead a generational change in national politics, and that it was the right opportunity for the 44-year-old to run for president."

That was widely viewed as an endorsement of DeSantis, which led Bush to email Politico to assert, "I was praising, not endorsing.”

He was a poor kid’s Republican, not a country club type. He certainly wasn’t perfect but he loved this country.

That’s fine, you don’t have to talk about it. I just think it’s funny, because your posts read like you are mad a “libs” because Trump won’t go away. I mean, between the primaries and general, a lot of you “life long republicans” have voted for Trump 4 times, …. And, wore the MAGA hats, flown the Trump flags, defended everything he did at the top of your lungs, bought into him imaginary conspiracy lies, voted out normal people to replace them with Trump endorsed MAGA Republicans, etc, etc…

Now I’m hearing that you don’t believe the polls that shows he is still popular, and democrats are foolish to talk about them? People who voted him 4 times created this monster…

Voting certainly is none of anyone’s business generally, although as we are speaking of Trump directly (and you seem eager to blame “the libs” for Trumps “stickiness” in the GOP) it seems odd to be all defensive about it.

I mean, I have no issue admitting I voted for W in ‘00. I later came to view that as a huge mistake, and after the Iraq war I’ve voted against Republicans almost 100% of the time. With the rot of todays GOP I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

There is a difference between saying someone is very effective and well positioned for what they want to do and have a huge opportunity in front of them to change the country, versus saying you support them in what they are trying to do.

No, JEB! began the centralization of power in Florida and DuhSantis is finishing the job by following the lead of Xi Jinping, and Vlad Putin.
