I don't know about light in the loafers, but he damn sure looks like a "DICK".[/QUOTE] And his hair style is that of an 8-year old
Even if our Gators are not in that "top division"? We are currently recruiting in about 5th place at best without adding UT and Okie. That is why I am good with an even split of the revenue including post season money minus the schools travel expenses etc.
We are a top half of the conference team no doubt. All schools have their ups and downs.Vandy on the other hand is never even going to try to compete so they shouldn’t take the field. It’s a joke.
Does Florida State or any ACC power actually have options? Revenue gap concerns threaten to split league
What other options does FSU have though? The SEC isn't inviting them and Clemson, we've got enough power programs already. I don't see the Big 10 coming in either, if anything they need to add Oregon and Washington to give the LA schools some neighbors. This reeks desperation on FSUs part.
True but save Vandy, what other schools would be in the lower tier? Ole Piss just gave Kiffin a huge raise, KY and S Carolina think they are on even footing with us. Maybe Miss. St. and Arky. Just saying there are a lot of teams that don't see themselves as the lower tier and are spending accordingly.
I knew the A¢¢ was in trouble when their network was televising a basketball game on a fall Saturday. Bball is great but football is the big money.
Maybe just Missouri. Those schools you mentioned are at least trying, no titles but they aren’t laying down.
At least basketball is a solvent sport, but when you make it your priority, that means you can’t afford to put a football team on the field.
I’m not sure about the “no doubt” part. If you asked unbiased observers which schools belong in the top half and which in the bottom half, you would get something like this (no particular order): TOP Alabama Georgia LSU Oklahoma Texas Texas A&M Tennessee BOTTOM Vanderbilt South Carolina Ole Miss Mississippi State Missouri Arkansas ON THE BUBBLE Florida Auburn Kentucky We might make the top half but it’s no guarantee.
If you look at championships , money generated and fan attendance, that pretty much tells the story. AM has some of that and no championships of any kind. Kentucky?
Pretty good list and hard to argue but I would put KY in the bottom category. Seems right when you look at the other teams in it.
They have a title a couple decades ago and have a very large and loyal fanbase. They have had a long rough patch a decade longer than ours but not for lack of spending money to try and win. They are a legit program whether the women have teeth or not.
Yeah, but to put them in the top half, and us "on the bubble" doesn't make sense. We have a couple of titles in less than 2 decades, several SECCG appearances and some NYE6 bowl games. I just don't see how their in the top half and UF is on the bubble.
I absolutely agree and with the addition of Oklahoma and Texas, top half may not be what I was getting at. Maybe premier football program may be a better metric. A&M is doing everything but win so I give them props also.
